In late 2009, Sparks Environmental began talking with PRM in Durham, NC to build a Mobile Thermal Oxidizer for Terminal Degassing of Storage Vessels. As regulations began to tighten on the release of Volatile Organic Compounds, degassing operations will be necessary to meet the limitations of regulations. Sparks Environmental will be one of the few, if not the only tank cleaner to provide degassing operations on this scale.

Sparks Environmental is very excited about our expansion into this field. By providing many of the services that industrial facilities need, Sparks Environmental can take oil storage tanks and industrial equipment from shutdown, to waste disposal, to degassing, sandblasting, and startup.
